The Postal Service
Earlier today, a string of things turned me from tolerant to such a bitch I was sicken'd by the tone of my own voice. I exiled myself to errand, so as not to be a wretch to those in my employ. While picking up my mail at the P.O., one of the ladies there that I love, (who call me by my real name - "darlin'" and "hey girl") was on the other side of my mailbox singing Alicia Keys "If I ain't got you" like she meant it, sweetly and quietly, while stuffing direct mail into people's boxes.

oh my. i unfortunately stumbled upon your blog while reading daniel radosh, an actual smart person. sigh. it is the bane of intelligent people the world over, to suffer the small indignities of stupid people like you trying to brazenly engage them in reasonable discourse. but i always thought it amusing and sort of sad (but mostly amusing), that iq-deprived individuals like yourself will never know how stupid they REALLY are. so against this better knowledge, i still feel compelled to offer you a bit of advice: never refer to yourself as a genius again. everrrr! not only is it obnoxiously untrue (as you vividly illustrate in your attack on radosh), it's a sure sign to those who do have functioning brain cells, that you are most assuredly NOT. as if they need that tip-off anyway. i have a dream that someday, people like you will miraculously float off the planet and towards their true destinies as so much space junk. have a nice day.
Daniel Radosh is your idea of a smart person?
Shirley, if you don't like this blog then don't read it, much less badmouth its author.
Clearly Shirley has some beef with the blog authors comments on Radosh but instead of engaging in a debate of ideas, she ad homimums. This leads me to believe Shirley is not clear on why she has beef, or else does not feel her reasons are valid. Hence she name-calls.
Therefore, I proclaim that Shirley is talking stupid talk.
how could a smart person be so mean to somebody they don't even know?
Whoa! Check out the 4 comments of rebound defense for Tiny's freethrows, so sweet. Pull one of them kleenexs out for me.
Julianne and I spoke last night about the invisible "hate" of folks on the internet. The biggest bum out is that people are super wasting their time vibing in the negative, barely read space of the comments section. You just feel bad for people. I imagine that person typing, maybe thinking "I will show her! I will shut that shit right down with my cleverness!" Which is not happening. You know, ever since my whole high school burned an effigy of me in the school parking lot winter of 12th grade, nothing really gets to me. Atthe height of riot girl, I had strangers spit on me, while walking down the street in Minneapolis, with my parents no less. I've had people throw bottles at my head while my old band played shows.
Not that I applaud tangible violence -- but I respect having the balls to do something "real". Every thing else decries a real lack of imagination and ripe jealousy.
Love thine enemies, tender ronis, it's holy week!
